He works in residential and commercial real estate, offering listings as an agent or for-sale-by-owner purchase and sale transactions as an lawyer. After graduating as a lawyer in 2009 he eventually sold the still-operating business in 2014 to reinvest the capital and focus on family and real estate. Robert thinks investing is fun.

Robert is an entrepreneur by trade, but a collector at heart. Starting with trading up for reserve list Magic: the Gathering cards 1994-present, he continues that tradition in his hobbies and investments. In additional to traditional investments, Robert has always been a collector of coins and rocks, now with an in-depth understanding of the antiques and collectibles market. He enjoyed curating cabinet crystal pieces and fluorescent minerals in 2013, then started stacking silver in 2014. By 2015 he was embracing bitcoin and had caught the gold bug. 2013 was also the year he and wife Sierra purchased their first real estate, a foothill home in Windsor which is now a cash-flowing rental. He waited until 2018 to add a Sebastopol residence next to the kids' Waldorf school, then grabbed a Russian River cabin at Hacienda in Forestville summer 2023, before rounding out the collection with a beautiful main street Victorian office building in downtown Sebastopol on Valentine's Day 2025. By 2018 Robert had matured as a collector, now focusing heavily on tech and AI stocks. Needless to say he is strictly a long-term HODLR. 

Robert's non-collecting hobbies include raising children; camping and fishing; traveling with friends and family (preferably to north shore Kauai); gardening and tending his exotic fruit orchards; absorbing a daily dose of nature's glory; hiking then hopefully swimming; trail riding horses; competing in old school Magic: the Gathering tournaments; honing his drone piloting and marksmanship; staying at the bleeding edge of tech and innovation; enjoying early eBay and YouTube adoption; hand building websites; responsibly leveraging artificial intelligence; capturing personal and professional photography; being his own general contractor; improving real estate with artful taste; housesitting in awesome settings; peering behind legendary doors; finding a way backstage; being creative with positive people; and seeking out the best dining establishments while sourcing fine foods for cooking.

Robert zealously guards his family and homes, vigilantly defends his honor with honesty, stands up for those in need, respects his fiduciary duties, takes security seriously, uses his brain, and is a great person to have on your side. Born and raised off-grid in beautiful west Sonoma County, she is Waldorf-educated with a degree in psychology. Her focus is on people, not just numbers. Beginning in 2005 Sierra gained valuable hand's on training in high-end jewelry sales before opening and operating her honeymoon business, an organic self-serve frozen yogurt shop in 2008.
